Hundreds gathered to break their fast together on the first night of Ramadan 2015 in Fatih, Istanbul, Turkey. The ritual of breaking the fast at sundown is known as iftar. Food was given to everyone free of charge from the municipality of Fatih. Street vendors, like this one selling corn on the cob, also waited nearby the main celebrations to capitalize once the fast was broken.
