Basima Toma, an Iraqi refugee, teaches English class at Don Bosco Youth Center in Istanbul, Turkey. Salesian priest Andres Calleja is in charge of the center that serves about 300 refugee children, mostly from Iraq and Syria. Like Toma, most of the teachers at the school are refugees or asylum seekers.
