Climate change in Zimbabwe

Stairs mark previous water levels of Lake Kariba in northern Zimbabwe. This year the water level of the lake reached near-record lows. The lake is important for agriculture, tourism, fishing and also energy generation as Kariba Dam is the predominant energy source for the country.
