Five Amazonian Manatees released back into the wild

Staff from Centro de Rescate Amazónico, members of the local government, men from the Manco Capac community and volunteers say goodbye to Juliana as she as released into Cocha El Dorado. Centro de Rescate Amazónico near Iquitos, Perú, released five endangered Amazonian Manatees back into their habitat in the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve after about three years of rehabilitating the rescued mammals. It was the first release in Perú.
